50 released a new single off the album “War Angel” the album is labeled by 50 as a street album, not so an album but not so much a mixtape.

If you ask any of your friends, classmates, or even co-workers who is the best rapper in the game today more than likely the vast majority will tell you Lil Wayne. Personally I’m not a huge Lil Wayne fan. His rhymes seem to go over my head (not in a good way). I think he was at his best in the days of the Hot Boys and the Big Tymers. Here are 10 reasons why some of us love him, and 10 reasons why some of us hate him.

Love

1. If his real songs are freestyles, then he must be good.
2. What artist in his/her right mind doesn’t want to work with him? He’s a hot commodity.
3. He can make most tracks that he puts on his mixtapes hotter than the original.
4. He’s a poet/artist. Was Van Gough appreciated when he was alive? Come on people. Don’t wait until he’s dead to like his music and appreciate what he’s brought to the game.
5. In order to understand what he’s saying, you have to listen to his verses more than one time.
6. Believe it or not, he actually stays on subject the entire verse. His usage of metaphors allows better understanding of different aspects of his particular subject.
7. He’s versatile in his style. He can reach across through different genres.-
8. He vastly matures on every album. He switches his style up and always brings something different. His next album is like the last.
9. He has people talking. Whether positive or negative, that’s always a plus. He makes sure he stays relevant.
10. He has consistently made average records that he’s featured on into club bangers.

Hate

1. This whole “I don’t write” phrase shouldn’t be anything to brag on because a lot his verses just don’t make sense.
2. He mumbles on some of his records.
3. His “freestyles” on rap city/TRL are already on one of his songs.
4. He’s way overrated. His fans turn a basic metaphor by Lil Wayne into some type of Da Vinci Code.
5. Most Wayne fans just found out about him after the release of the Carter1- 2, and know nothing about him when he was with The Hot Boys.
6. You can’t get a Waynehead to listen to anyone else.
7. Some of his fans actually say  he’s better than 2pac, Biggie, Big L, and other rap pioneers.
8. His voice is very annoying.
9. He’s is only labeled as is the best rapper alive because he says it in every song, AND YOU BELIEVE IT.
10. Every thing this dude drops is considered a hit no matter how garbage the song really is ie: Lollipop, Prom Queen.

The Justice League studio session. If you’ve heard Rick Ross’s new album “Deeper than Rap” and his previous album Trilla, Justice League produced a lot of the hits from Both albums including “Magnificent” ft John Legend and “Maybach Music 1 & 2″. I’m feeling all of the Justice League tracks by Ross so far not to forget “Luxury Tax” ft Jeezy, Trick Daddy & Lil Wayne which is one of my favorites off the “Trilla” album.
